Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to make a positive impact in the classroom? rTriibe is currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 3 to support schools in Birkenhead. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive educational environment where you can help pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
As a Teaching Assistant Level 3, you will work closely with teachers to support the delivery of engaging lessons and provide targeted support to pupils. You will play an important role in helping students build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their learning goals within either primary or secondary school settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging classroom activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils who require additional assistance.
• Assist with classroom preparation, ensuring learning materials and resources are ready for lessons.
• Support pupils with routines, transitions, and behaviour management.
• Encourage positive relationships, confidence, and independence among students.
• Monitor and report on pupil progress and behaviour where required.
• Ensure school policies and safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements:
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience working within a UK school or familiarity with the UK education system.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide two professional references covering the last 24 months.
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
