Do you have a background in both education and care? rTriibe is seeking a Teaching Assistant with Medical & Care Experience to support children in a warm, inclusive school environment in Manchester. This full-time opportunity is perfect for someone who’s passionate about making a real difference in the lives of pupils with additional medical or personal care needs.
You’ll be a key part of the support team—helping students thrive academically while also attending to their individual care requirements. Whether it’s assisting with personal care routines or helping a child stay engaged in learning, your calm approach, active listening, and empathy will go a long way in building trust and boosting confidence.
Ideal candidates will hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, RQF) and a healthcare-related certification such as an HND in Healthcare Professions Support, Healthcare Support Diploma, or a Level 2/3 Certificate in Health and Social Care. Prior experience in personal care, or roles such as a Healthcare Assistant or Nurse, will be highly beneficial.
