Are you a compassionate and dedicated professional with a background in both education and healthcare? rTriibe is looking for a Teaching Assistant with Medical & Care Experience to support students in Salford who require not just academic guidance, but also personal and medical care throughout their school day.
This is a full-time role where your dual expertise in education and healthcare will be truly valued. You’ll work closely with pupils who have complex needs, providing both learning support in the classroom and personal care or medical assistance as required. Your calm nature, patience, and genuine care will make a huge impact on their educational experience and overall wellbeing.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), alongside qualifications in health and social care such as an HND in Healthcare Professions Support, a Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Health and Social Care, or a Care Certificate. Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Personal Care Assistant, or even Nurse is highly desirable. Strong communication, active listening, and the ability to stay composed in high-pressure situations are essential.
You must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one) and previous UK school-based experience or similar.
