Are you passionate about supporting pupils with additional medical and care needs? rTriibe is on the lookout for a Teaching Assistant with Medical & Care Experience to join a dedicated school team in Stockport. This full-time role blends the compassion of care with the structure of classroom support—perfect for someone with a dual background in education and healthcare.
In this role, you’ll provide both educational assistance and personal care to students, helping them feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. Whether it’s guiding a pupil through a lesson or offering a calm presence during medical routines, your understanding and empathy will be the foundation of their school success.
We’re looking for candidates with a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (such as NVQ, CACHE, or RQF) and a relevant care qualification like a Healthcare Support Diploma, Level 2/3 Certificate in Health and Social Care, or HND in Healthcare Professions Support. Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Nurse, or in personal care is a big plus.
You’ll also need an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one) and school-based experience or similar in the UK.
