Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in both education and care? rTriibe is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with Medical & Care Experience to join a supportive school environment in Tameside. This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone with a heart for helping others and hands-on experience in both the classroom and care settings.
In this role, you’ll support students with a range of needs—both educational and medical—creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning space. You’ll work closely with teaching staff to deliver lessons while providing personal care where needed, helping each child feel seen, supported, and empowered.
To thrive here, you’ll need a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (such as NVQ, CACHE, or RQF), as well as relevant care credentials like a Healthcare Support Diploma, Health and Social Care Certificate, or HND in Healthcare Professions Support. Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Nurse, or in personal care is a strong asset.
We’re seeking someone who is patient, empathetic, and adaptable, with a natural ability to connect and communicate effectively. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) and UK-based school experience are also essential.
