Are you passionate about supporting children with additional medical or care needs in a school setting? rTriibe is on the lookout for a Teaching Assistant with Medical & Care Experience to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Trafford. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who brings both educational support and healthcare expertise to the classroom.
In this rewarding role, you’ll work closely with pupils who require extra assistance not only in their learning but also in their daily personal care or medical routines. Your ability to stay calm under pressure, listen actively, and communicate clearly will be key to helping students feel safe, supported, and confident in their learning environment.
To thrive in this role, you should hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification such as a CACHE, NVQ, or RQF certificate, along with a healthcare-related qualification like an HND in Healthcare Professions Support, Healthcare Support Diploma, or Health and Social Care Certificate. Previous experience in personal care, or as a Healthcare Assistant or Nurse, is highly valued.
You must have a valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to get one) and experience working in a UK school setting or similar.
