rTriibe is currently looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support schools across Wrexham. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and committed to supporting pupils in their learning and development. If you hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning and enjoy working in a dynamic classroom environment, we would like to hear from you.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teachers and helping pupils reach their full potential. You will assist in delivering engaging learning activities, support classroom management, and provide additional guidance to pupils who require extra help. Your contribution will help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils who require additional assistance.
• Help prepare classroom materials and learning resources.
• Assist with classroom organisation and management to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Encourage pupil participation, confidence, and independence in their learning.
• Promote positive behaviour and support the school’s safeguarding policies.
• Monitor and report pupil progress to teachers where required.
Requirements:
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or a related field.
• Previous experience working within the UK education system is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to provide two professional references covering the last 24 months.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
This role offers opportunities across both Primary and Secondary schools in Wrexham. Full-time availability from Monday to Friday is preferred.
