- A Bachelor's degree (minimum 3-year degree) in Islamic Education, Islamic Studies, Usul Al-Din (Foundations of Religion), Fiqh and Its Principles, Sciences of the Quran and Hadith, Tafsir and Quranic Sciences, or Comparative Jurisprudence and Sharia
- Formal teaching qualification such as a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), or a certified teaching diploma
- All academic degrees, transcripts, and experience certificates fully attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in the UAE and relevant authorities in the degree's country of issue
