- UK school-based experience or equivalent
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate or NVQ CACHE Level 3 TA or RQF - TQUK Supporting Teaching Assistant & Learning in Schools Level 3 Certificate or equivalent
- Sensitivity and understanding
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Active listening
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Flexible and open to change
- Enjoy working with other people
- Ability to teach pupils how to do something
