- Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate, NVQ CACHE Level 3 TA, or RQF - TQUK Supporting Teaching Assistant & Learning in Schools Level 3 Certificate
- Sensitivity and understanding

- Active listening
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Flexible and open to change
- Ability to teach pupils how to do something
