Literacy Intervention Assistant

Are you passionate about literacy and looking to make a real difference in the lives of young learners in Derbyshire? Join us as a Literacy Intervention Assistant in an alternative provision setting, focusing on KS3 and KS4 pupils to enhance their reading, phonics, and overall literacy skills.

- Support KS3 and KS4 pupils with reading, phonics, and literacy development
- Deliver 1:1 literacy interventions and monitor student progress
- Familiarity with phonics programmes like Read Write Inc Fresh Start is desirable
- Experience with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties is beneficial
- Resilient, adaptable, and capable of building positive relationships with young people
- Access to transport with business insurance is required

A minimum of 2 references covering the past 24 months
