SEN Teaching Assistant

Join us in Carlisle as a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant and make a difference in the lives of young learners! Work closely with primary students across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, and be part of a supportive and vibrant school environment.

- Experience in UK classroom settings, particularly as a Primary School Teaching Assistant
- Proficiency in managing Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other specific needs like Down syndrome, dyslexia, and hearing/speech impairments
- Knowledge and experience in personal care and working with children with learning disabilities
- Ability to support 1:1 or in small groups, collaborating effectively with the classroom teacher
- Strong skills in dealing with challenging behaviour

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
A minimum of 2 references covering the past 24 months
