- Experience with SEND, including SEMH
- SEN-specific training such as autism awareness, ADHD support, or BSL
- Essential qualities: patience, empathy, resilience, and strong verbal communication
- Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate/Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools desirable
