SEN Teaching Assistant

Join our dedicated team as a SEN Teaching Assistant in West Berkshire, where you'll make a real difference in the lives of young learners. This role offers a dynamic environment in which to support primary-age children, including those with additional needs like Autism, ADHD, and SEMH.

- Experience supporting SEN students, particularly in primary settings (EYFS, KS1, KS2)
- Knowledge of Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and working with diverse needs such as EAL, dyslexia, and hearing impairments
- Prior experience in UK classrooms and a SEND Diploma preferred
- Ability to support children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Proactive attitude and skills in managing challenging behaviour
- Collaborative skills to work closely with teachers
