Teaching Assistant for Visually Impaired

Join us as a Teaching Assistant for the Visually Impaired in St Helens, supporting students in their educational journey. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with visual impairments and additional needs.

- Availability for full-time work
- Minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths
- Experience in UK school environments or similar settings
- Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
- Experience in class supervision and assisting with lesson provision
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to empathise and understand student needs
- Experience with specialist Braille and ICT equipment for the visually impaired

A minimum of 2 references covering the past 24 months
