Role Overview
As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality PE lessons and extracurricular sports activities. You will play a key role in encouraging participation, developing skills, and fostering teamwork while promoting a positive and inclusive sporting environment within the school setting.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons and structured sports sessions
• Implement effective school sport programmes aligned with curriculum standards
• Promote physical fitness, wellbeing, and healthy lifestyles
• Lead a variety of sports activities for both primary and secondary pupils
• Support and motivate students of varying abilities to build confidence and skill
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leadership teams

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Coaching, Sports Science, or a related field
• Previous experience working in UK schools
• Level 2 Diploma in Sport and/or Level 3 qualification in Sports Coaching
• Valid First Aid certification
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• A supportive, patient, and motivating approach
• Availability for full-time work or a minimum of three days per week
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability to provide professional references covering the last 24 months
