Who we are

rTriibe Limited is a UK education recruitment business registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is Level One Basecamp Liverpool, 49 Jamaica Street, Liverpool L1 0AH. For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, rTriibe Limited is the data controller for the personal data we collect through this website and our app.

• DBS and safer-recruitment checks

• Contact details and bank details for payroll

If your school books staff through us

• Booking history and preferences
• Billing and invoice information

Why we use your data

We use the personal data we collect to:

• Reply to your enquiry and provide the service you've asked for
• Match candidates to schools and process bookings
• Pay candidates and invoice schools
• Meet our legal and safeguarding obligations (DBS, KCSIE, right-to-work, payroll, tax)
• Improve the rTriibe platform and the matching engine that powers it

We do not add your details to any marketing list without your explicit opt-in.

How we share your data

We share data only with parties who need it to provide our service: schools when matching candidates to bookings; HMRC and our payroll provider for candidates' wages; our cloud and infrastructure providers; and law enforcement or regulators where legally required. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever.

How long we keep it

We retain candidate records for the duration of your registration with rTriibe and for up to seven years afterwards for tax, payroll, and safeguarding compliance. School and enquiry data is retained for as long as we have a working relationship plus six years. You can request earlier deletion at any time, subject to our legal retention obligations.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
• Object to or restrict our processing of your data
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time where consent is the lawful basis
• Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we have mishandled your data

Cookies

This website uses essential cookies only — those required for the site to function and for basic security. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers on this marketing site. The rTriibe app (app.rtriibe.com) has its own cookie usage covered by separate notices in-app.

Security

We protect your personal data using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access to candidate and school records inside rTriibe is restricted to staff who need it to do their job, and all access is logged.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated to registered candidates and school contacts by email.
